What does BuildBoss Bid Pro cost?
$99.99 per user per month. Every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial; a valid credit card is required to start it, and the card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. You can cancel at any time.
Do the subcontractors I invite have to pay?
No. Subcontractors, suppliers and any other bidder you invite use BuildBoss free. They receive your invitation to bid, download every document on the project, update their bid status and send their bid back — without a subscription of their own. You pay for your seats, nobody else’s.
Do you take a percentage of the bid?
No. BuildBoss is a subscription. We take no cut of any bid, contract or award that comes through the platform.
How many projects can I run?
As many as you want. Active projects and bid document uploads are both unlimited on Bid Pro, so your pricing does not change with your bidding volume — a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.
How is this different from emailing plans to my bid list?
Your bid list stops being a spreadsheet. You build a bid package once, search a directory of bidders, and send invitations to bid in minutes. From then on you can see who opened, who is bidding, who declined and who has sent a number — instead of reconstructing it from your inbox on bid day.
What if I need to send an addendum after invitations go out?
Add it to the project and it goes to everyone you invited, so nobody bids off an old set. You can see the bid status of everyone invited and download the bids you have received from the same place.
How long does it take to get going?
Set up a project and upload your bid documents in minutes. There is nothing to install — BuildBoss runs in your browser, so your estimators can start on the project they are already working on.
Can more than one estimator work on the same job?
Yes. Pricing is per user, so add a seat for each estimator. They can message bidders and leave notes on a project in real time, so the person covering bid day sees the same picture as the person who set the job up.
Does BuildBoss integrate with our accounting or project management software?
Not today. BuildBoss is used alongside those tools rather than connected to them. Integrations are something we are open to, so tell us which ones matter to you.
Who can see the bids we receive?
A bid is between the bidder who sent it and the company it was sent to. We do not share your projects, or the bids and quotes on them, with other customers or with other bidders. If a bid goes any further, it is because someone on one side of it sent it on.
Can I get out if it does not suit us?
Cancel any time. If you cancel inside the 14-day trial you are not charged at all.
